How your details are handled
Written to explain, without legalese, how Velivora Archive treats your data under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
Data we hold
The list is short — name, delivery address, phone and email. With an account, order history and saved addresses are kept too.
Nothing about your bank reaches us. UPI is approved on your side, and no payment credential is stored here.
Purpose
The data is there to:
- process and pack your order
- arrange delivery and share tracking updates
- answer support messages about an order
- meet record-keeping obligations under Indian law
- detect and prevent fraudulent orders
Third parties
The courier delivering your parcel gets your name, address and phone number — there is no way to deliver without it. The payment itself is your bank’s UPI infrastructure. No data is sold, and none goes to advertisers.
We may disclose information where a law, a court or a regulator requires it.
Cookies and analytics
Cookies here keep the cart and your session alive. Blocking them in your browser is your choice, but the cart may break. There are no advertising trackers on the site.
Access and correction
Under the DPDP Act, 2023 you may:
- ask what personal data we hold about you
- ask us to correct anything inaccurate
- ask us to erase data we no longer need for an order or a legal obligation
- withdraw consent for messages that are not about an order
Storage period
Order records are retained only for the statutory period under Indian tax and consumer law. Account data remains until removal is requested, and support email is held a short time after a case closes.
Children
Under-18s are not the audience for this site, and any child’s data we find is deleted.
Grievance officer
Data questions and complaints go to our Customer Care Team, who act as the grievance contact for Velivora Archive.
